Irene holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Enugu State University of Technology, Enugu. A business development professional and seasoned banker with 23 years high quality work experience spanning across business development, financial management, wealth management, risk asset administration, operations management and coordination, internal control, strategy development, client servicing, team leadership, people management and project management.

She has over 12 years of successful history of achievements in senior management roles in the banking and manufacturing sectors. She was Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer at R. Johnny-Fort International Ltd, Group Head, Private Banking and Business Manager, First Bank of Nigeria Plc (FBN), AGM, Head of Banking Operations, Head, International Payments and Head, Credit Administration Unit at Hallmark Bank Plc.

She has attended various courses and seminars both locally and internationally. She is an Associate Member, Certified Pension Institute of Nigeria (CPIN), 2005; Senior Member Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) 2003, and Member Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management of Nigeria (CILRM), 2005.
